Our online service allows families the ability to make complete arrangements for the direct cremation of their loved one from the comfort of their own home and without the need to come to the funeral home. Note that the only additional cost for this service is the cost of the required Medical Examiner Cremation Authorization Fee for the county in which death has taken place. This fee varies by county and is capped at $50 by Florida statutes.

Basic Services of Funeral Director and Staff.
Transfer deceased from place of death to the crematory within a 20 mile radius of our funeral home. (Additional $3.00 per loaded mile outside of radius. $35 minimum)
Submission of the death record to the State of Florida using data supplied online to us by the family.
Liaising with medical personnel to provide cause of death.
Filing for and acquiring Death Certificates.
Obtaining cremation authorization from the appropriate Medical Examiner's office (the fee assessed by the Medical Examiner is in addition to the package price listed.)
Sheltering of the deceased according to state law.
Simple heavy-duty cardboard alternative container. Other options are available.
Committal Ceremony at Sarasota National Cemetery. (Another facility may be selected at additional cost)
For veterans we will arrange for military honors and supply a VA provided burial flag at no additional cost.
Transportation of urn, documents, and accompaniment by funeral home staff to the cemetery.
